The Tuckers purchase a "Tudor"

After months of searching in Mitchell County for a new home that was built within the last five years that was move in ready, we found a 1978 fixer-upper in Pelham.    The tudor-style house was built by the Singletary family, founders of Sing Oil Company.  We are the fourth owners of the home following Dr. Terry & Heather Lambert and James & Kimberly NeSmith.

Labor Day 2010 was move-in day with four air mattresses and our toothbrushes.  We are now living in one of those renovation realty shows as all four of us sleep in the master bedroom while we renovate downstairs.  Renovations began on September 21st of this 8-week project.

Before...during....after pictures to follow (when someone shows me how to put photos on a blog)
